Acknowledging that every manufacturer of clothing uses slightly various sizing, I was a bit surprised at how small the 46 size felt. I was originally gifted a pair in 42, but exchanged to 44 after trying them on. I noticed little difference and ultimately had to land on 46. There was difference, yes, but somewhat minimal when making the jump in size that's 4-inches difference.
The velcro at the top of the shorts is fine, but not a fan of the velcro over the zipper/ fly area. I always feel like when I'm squatting or bending over the zipper/ fly area seems to open a bit and I'm constantly adjusting them so it doesn't appear my zipper is open.
The material is extremely comfortable and very breathable, but I do wish more companies made apparel for the bigger individual. I'm 6'-3, 285lbs with a small gut. I'd absolutely love to support this company and buy more products (hoodies, shirts), but sadly like most Crossfit/ Gym apparel manufacturers the designs seemed to be geared much more towards the extremely fit or very thin individuals.
I'd recommend the product for these individuals, but outside that I'd be tough to recommend.
