Wasn’t expecting of the washed look in the thight from what the pictures showed or that the pants would have a more loose / tappered out look at the bottom like a bootcut jean.

The material is stretchy and comfortable but was just expeting a more true black look and slightly tigher fit and finish down at the bottom.

Good jeans, just a little different than as described / what i was hoping for

I’m 6’4” and 160 pounds. After 8 years of hiking up mountains on a very regular basis, my chicken legs have grown just enough that pants look somewhat more flattering on me. This company knows how to do it. These jeans are lightweight, and the stretch is almost magical in that it works for every inch of my leg from waist to cuff. Other brands are either too tight all over, just perfect in one area but too loose in another, etc.

I have bought these jeans in 3 of the 4 colors offered. One pair did not fit, but I settled for a larger waist size as the 28” was unavailable. Stupidly, I washed them, simultaneously performing a chant and shaking a tambourine. Being well-made, high quality pants, the size remained the same. I was a little surprised at how much wider the legs were from the 28” waist to the 30” waist, but that’s minor. When you receive your order, Born Primitive emails you, immediately insisting that you return your pants if you’re not satisfied with the fit. I was warned, but like an excited child on Christmas morning. I just couldn’t wait. There is an almost “boutique” quality thrift/outdoor store near me that some tall, slim dude is about to hit the jackpot with these pants. I feel good about that.

I bought 2 pairs of the terrain pants, and the fit is better than any hiking pants I have ever owned. I’m grateful. Oh how I wish (hint! hint!) that the same fit could be duplicated in shorts with about a 13.5 inseam. Though 6’4”, I typically need the same inseam as…
