First, measure around the fullest part of your bust. Keep the tape straight across your back. Round up to the nearest whole number. This is your bust measurement.

    I've always found men's duty/tactical pants to fit my body better than women's. In men's, I wear a 28x30 or 28x29, but it seems most companies are shifting to not offering a 28" waist in their men's pants (LAPG, First Tactical, etc) - sad. After trying TONS of women's duty/tactical pants and finding them too low waisted or to have flat/useless side pockets for carrying everything I carry on patrol, I decided to try these. The lightweight material is nice for warmer temps, I appreciate the stretch of the material, the side pockets aren't huge, but they are bigger than most women's pants pockets and they stretch, which is a bonus. The front crotch/rise is too long for me and doesn't look great. Luckily, due to the stretch of the material, they're not awful to walk in even though the crotch is definitely long on me b/c I'm short. One other suggestion would be to lower the side pockets a bit, so you can still access them when wearing a drop holster. I'm 5'1"/120 with an athletic build and got the size 4 short. They fit pretty well. The waist is slightly large, but the thighs would be way too tight if I went down to a size 2. I will say the waist/hip/leg ratios are way better for me than other women's pants. I usually have to size 2-3 sizes up for my thighs and then the waist is huge - not so much with these. Born Primitive - PLEASE offer the men's Op Assault Pant with a 28" waist.

    I have been on a quest for the last 3 years to find the perfect EMS pant for women. Most of the time they just don’t fit right and are not stretchy enough, and not comfortable for a 24 hour shift. I ordered these and the price tag was almost enough to keep me from trying them out. I ordered a pair and figured that if I hated them, I could just return them. Well, I tried them on and that was the end of the story. They are the most comfortable work/tactical pants I have ever tried. They have the perfect amount of stretch, have the perfect amount of pockets, and are all around just a great pant. I am ruined because now I want another pair.
