The Frontier Pant Light 2.0 is the next evolution of our best-selling pants. We engineered a pant that brings added versatility by providing a quick-drying and ultra-breathable 4-way stretch fabric, side zip vents, internal knee pad pockets, a truly versatile pocket system, a water repellent finish, and reinforcements on the knees, seat, and heel.

      Not Just for the West

      When most hunters think about technical hunting apparel, their minds naturally drift toward the mountains of the American West. However, some of the most demanding conditions for hunting clothing can be found much closer to home, particularly during the early archery season in the Southeast.

      For those of us chasing whitetails from a treestand or saddle in hot, humid conditions, comfort, mobility, and functionality are critical. After using the Born Primitive Frontier Pant Light 2.0, I believe these pants deserve serious consideration from Eastern bowhunters.

      Breathability and Temperature Regulation

      Early-season bowhunting in the Southeast presents a unique challenge. Temperatures can remain well into the 80s and 90s, humidity is often oppressive, and even a relatively short walk to the stand can leave you soaked in sweat before the hunt begins.

      This is where the Frontier Pant Light 2.0 really shines. The lightweight fabric breathes exceptionally well, allowing heat to escape rather than trapping it against your body. Equally impressive is the balance between breathability and durability. Despite their lightweight construction, the pants offer excellent resistance to abrasion when moving through brush, climbing trees, and maneuvering around rough bark.

      For a hunter who spends considerable time in a saddle, where fabric is constantly subjected to friction and pressure, that balance is particularly important.
