    Feet feel planted on the ground

    Been lifting for a couple of years, wearing Nike Metcon. They're fine for what they are (combo shoe that provides some stability for lifting, some cushioning for short runs), but was ready for a change. As a relative noob to lifting (59M 195lb), I knew I wanted something with a wide toe box, not zero drop, but also not with a big wedge heel. So this seemed right. I don't love (or hate) the color, bought it because it was on a deep sale. My only regret is the laces - they're a bit much ;-), I'll probably change them. But as a shoe, this is EXACTLY what I was looking for - my feet are BOLTED to the ground when I'm lifting. I can really feel my toes spread out (big toe gripping the ground) when deadlifting, they feel really stable.
