Updated with a polyester fabric, the original wide toe box, cushioned rebound midsole, and multi-directional traction work together to keep you locked in and grounded through whatever your workout throws at you.

- Lightweight knit upper & mesh tongue resulting in improved breathability⁠

- Dual density molded footbed with 4mm drop. The density at the heel is for heavy lifting stability and the softer area at the forefoot is for cushioning while running and jumping⁠. The total thickness of the shoe at the heel is 21mm and 17mm at the forefoot

    Best CrossFit shoe for me so far

    I’ve worn Reebok, Inov-8’s, New Balance, and the Born Primitive Savage 1’s. I’m on my second pair of Savage 1’s and don’t plan to change. Wide toe box, comfortable and quality construction that takes abuse, but stays strong and works great for all my functional fitness needs. I do replace the insoles (of most all of my footwear) with Power-Step insoles to provide better arch support and prevent painful plantar fasciitis from returning. I highly recommend Born Primitive Savage 1’s!
