Picked up the Training Tee in Moonlight and it’s exactly what I want in a performance shirt.

Fabric is lightweight and breathable but still has structure. It doesn’t feel paper-thin, and it doesn’t get heavy once you start sweating. I’ve worn it for strength sessions, conditioning work, and full days coaching — it stays comfortable the entire time.

Fit is athletic and clean. It tapers through the torso without being tight and gives enough room through the shoulders and chest to move freely. No pulling during overhead work or pressing. True to size for me.

Moonlight is a great neutral color — subtle, sharp, and easy to pair with pretty much anything. It doesn’t look overly “gym,” which makes it versatile enough for everyday wear.

Big plus: it holds its shape after washing. Collar stays structured, no twisting seams, and no shrinkage so far.

Overall, it’s a high-quality training tee that performs during hard sessions but still looks good outside the gym. Solid staple piece.

Would definitely add more colors.

I picked up the Training Tee in Agave and it’s quickly become one of my favorites for both training and long coaching days.

The fabric is lightweight, soft, and breathable without feeling fragile. It handles sweat well — doesn’t get heavy or cling excessively during conditioning or longer lifting sessions. It dries quickly and keeps its structure even after getting soaked.

Fit is athletic without being restrictive. It tapers well through the torso but still allows room in the shoulders and chest. I’ve had issues with tees either pulling across the shoulders or fitting boxy through the midsection — this hits the balance. True to size for me.

The Agave color is clean and unique without being loud. It pairs easily with darker shorts or pants and holds its color after washing (no fading so far).

Durability has been solid. Stitching feels strong, collar keeps its shape, and it hasn’t stretched out after multiple washes.

Overall, this is the kind of shirt you can train hard in but still wear casually without looking like you just left the gym. Comfortable, functional, and sharp.

Would definitely grab another color.

This is one of many reviews I’ve written for Born Primitive, and that alone should say something. The quality and fit of their athletic shirts are truly superb. They fit without being restrictive, hold their shape over time, and feel just as good during a tough workout as they do casually.

One of the most impressive features, though, is the odor resistance. I have BP shirts that are over a year old, have been through countless workouts and washes, and they don’t develop that “wet dog” smell the second I start sweating. That alone sets them apart from a lot of other brands I’ve worn.

If you’re hesitant about the price, remember—you’re paying for quality. You’re investing in gear that will survive heavy training cycles, repeated washes, and still perform like it should. In the long run, that durability makes them worth every dollar.
